Lady Gaga in Auckland (2)

Lady Gaga's performance last Friday was just awesome - she played 2 1/2 hours, and yes, she can sing and obviously enjoys it (singing). And the way how she dresses up can certainly be called avangarde, like it or not.

She can be loud and she can be very quiet, she can scream and she can whisper. All in one show, it is just amazing!

On the stage

This video I took is one of the more "quiet" moments, when she talked about her view of the world: "...we're not in the same place that we were 25 years ago ... there is no need to put people down ... it is not re...levant anymore to hold on to the past and hold on to the pain of what was ... what's relevant now is to leave this all behind and look forward to a future where it doesn't matter what you are ..."  . A nice message to today's generation (and to all the other generations too).
The amazing thing was that I saw heaps of mothers with their daughters in the teenage age going to this concert. Wow! And then of course all those hot chicks dressed in the most fanciest dresses you can not even dream of ;-)

Listen to what Lady Gaga sais about our generation (4 minutes) here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBZaYqlb3Gk&list=UUil8rbpbkBl5CU0UfR068yg&index=1&feature=plcp)

And for those who miss her already: she is coming back in less than two years :), she promised. Find a post review here (http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/whats-on/7064260/Review-Lady-Gaga-at-Vector)

See you again in 2013!
